Natália Rácz, a graduate of the MSc sports management programme at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), has been working at the European Handball Federation (EHF) for three years. She owes her position at this prestigious international sports organization not only to her theoretical knowledge but also to her practical experience.

In recent days, Natália Rácz, also known as Nati, visited her Amla Mater, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) as a guest lecturer. She had received her master’s degree in sports management at HUSS in 2022. That same year, she applied to the European Handball Federation, where she was immediately offered a job.

Nati’s past played an important role in the fact that she got a job immediately at one of the biggest European sports organisation.

She played handball competitively for eleven years, and during her studies at HUSS, she worked as an assistant and researcher at the Sports Economics and Decision Sciences Research Center, led by Rector Tamás Sterbenz. Later, accepting the rector’s invitation, she continued my work at the Sports Office.

Between 2017 and 2022, she took on various roles at numerous international sporting events, including the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, the U21 European Football Championship, the Women’s Handball Champions League Final Four, and the 2022 Men’s European Handball Championship co-hosted by Hungary and Slovakia. She also volunteered at international swimming, water polo, and fencing events, including men’s Water Polo Champions League matches.
