Strong HUSS presence at the FISU Summer World University Games

The Hungarian team departing for the World University Games has taken their oath. Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) delegates a total 21 students to the Games.


Between July 16 and 27, the 32nd World University Games will be hosted in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, taking place across six cities: Berlin, Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, and The Hague.

Hungarian athletes will compete in 16 out of the 18 sports, with a total of 178 athletes representing 47 universities, including 31 Hungarian higher education institutions.

Twenty-one athletes from Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) will participate in the global event.

Hungarian athletes will compete in the following sports: 3×3 basketball, table tennis, athletics, rowing, archery, judo, basketball, diving, rhythmic gymnastics, beach volleyball, badminton, taekwondo, gymnastics, swimming, fencing, and water polo.

Two years ago in Chengdu, the Hungarian university team broke all previous records by winning 17 medals.
